Several groups of people from Pine Bluff and Southeast Arkansas will attend the Jehovah’s Witnesses’ convention Friday through Sunday, July 8-10, at the Statehouse Convention Center at Little Rock, a spokesman said.

 

Thousands of families across Arkansas are expected to attend the 2016 “Remain Loyal to Jehovah!” convention. The public is invited to attend this free event, one of hundreds being held worldwide, according to a press release.

 

Each day, sessions will begin at 9:20 a.m. and will be introduced by music videos recorded for the convention. Also, there will be 35 video segments designed for the program plus two short films to be shown Saturday and Sunday, July 9-10.

 

The program will feature 49 presentations, each exploring the theme “Loyalty.”

 

“Loyalty is a critical component to any healthy relationship,” Judah Day, a spokesman for the Little Rock convention,said in the press release. “The content of all the presentations, along with the videos this year, will help people to build strong bonds in their marriage, with their children, friends and most importantly with God.”

 

“On Sunday at 11:20 a.m. we will have the timely Bible discourse entitled ‘When Will Loyal Love Triumph Over Hatred?’ We sincerely believe people of all backgrounds and nationalities attending this convention will benefit and enjoy each Bible-based discourse,” Day said.
