My heart sometimes is breakable

My nerve is sometime shakeable

But one thing is unmistakable

 

Hope lives in me

 

I have moments less than cheerful

When the moment leaves me tearful

But in the long run I'm never fearful

This thing called hope it helps me to see, through sight unseen the quality of the future meant for you and me.

 

This thing called hope is stronger than my despair, it can find me and uncover me anywhere.  It's calling out and it's very loud, it drowns out the many sounds and constantly reassures when I am beaten and broken that love abounds.

 

It is the sure anchor of my faith, this hope you see, for I am a child of God and he's the one looking after me.  His sweeping gaze never fails to see, those who continually stab at me, his eyes never miss the darts the evil one throws, nor does he ignore all the mental and spiritual blows.  

 

You see he's the one who lit the spark, this hope that keeps on blazing especially when dark.  Like my Lord and Master, my dear Christ.  l  will not give up till we've won the fight.  

 

Our hope is secure, this future so bright you can embrace it with minds eye and feel it's coming delight.  

 

It is the raiment our master wears, it is the beating of his heart to finally bring about what Jehovah wanted from the start.  A paradise for some to come, for others a spot in the heavens to work alongside God's only son.  A beautiful hope for all surely you see.  

 

Don't tire out, come says the bride....be there with me.
