Just add it like you would do clorax or any softener.  I did not believe it at first but kept using it.  It takes away any smell you may have on any clothing or towels - after a time they acquire 'smell'.  Like the old commercial 'try it, Mikey, you'll like it."  Please let me know what you find.   And, it does make the towels softer.    Sorry, Bro.  Erskin, just a side point.
