Economy collapsing in Suriname

So glad we started our new Congregation Study book: God's Kingdom Rule!   It's going to be fascinating how each chapter goes along with today's news headlines.   The countries coming apart just like falling domino's!   Am waiting for that day and hour when Jehovah puts his thought into the minds of those in the UN.   We are close to the final chapter in Satanic ruler ship.  Hurrah!!! It will be gone for a thousand years.  Life would feel good when he and his hords are gone after Armagadden in those first 24 hours of our life.

Gold and oil used to be a sure way to guarantee wealth for a country. But commodities have crashed in this fickle global economic system.  Unlike Greece, which borrowed heavily but doesn't have any natural resources to exploit (except souvlakia and other delicious Greek food, but I digress), Suriname and Venezuela are in their position because of government mismanagement of their resources in times of plenty.  It really does not belong to man to direct his own step.

 

The Association of Economists of Suriname says the government must better diversify economically and produce more than just oil and gold. Chairman Winston Ramautarsing suggests developing agriculture, tourism and fishing. "Sadly enough, we seem to be better at spending money than at developing strategies to earn money."
