Bomb left outside Kingdom Hall

WICHITA, Kan. - Wichita Police are looking for 1 or more suspects who left a backpack full of homemade explosives next to a church in north Wichita. Sgt. Jesse Boomer says members of the Kingdom Hall Jehovah's Witness Church in the 3-thousand block of north Jackson were doing yard work Saturday when they came across a suspicious backpack next to the building that contained 5 homemade explosives. The bomb squad was called out and the explosives were properly disposed of. If anyone has any information or tips on this crime, they are to call 911 or CrimeStoppers at 267 - 2111.
