Mogadishu truck bomb

Really sad news, and every time we read of another tragedy like this it tops the one before.  This one happened when a truck bomb exploded in a busy shopping and commercial district aiming maximum carnage - over 200 killed, hundreds more badly injured with the death toll expected to rise.

 

Mogadishu's mayor Tabid Abdi Mohamed also visited those wounded in the blast, saying he lacked words to describe what he had seen. 

"What I have seen at the hospitals I have visited is unspeakable," he said, calling on everyone to help in the rescue efforts

 

It is unfortunately a common occurrence in this war-torn country, but wicked men here have" been advancing from bad to worse" in ways that we can no longer get our heads around.
