Whiskey in the jar - Metallica

There’s references to drug use in this song but it is portrayed in a bad light...

This is the best version of this classic song that I like, wagon wheel.

That’s crazy. I had the version by Darius Rucker stuck in my head because my sister sent it to me and now I see this. Thanks for contributing :)

“Folk” music was popular in the 60s and early 70s when I was running around. Judy Collins was well known and well liked folk singer/writer. This song she managed to cross over into pop music of the day. Beautiful  melancholy song. “Send in the clowns”.

Likewise, Joni Mitchell. When I first heard this song, I didn’t care for it. Then it grew on me and now I love it.

Any of you ever heard of a violinist named Caroline Campbell? She has some sick violin skills.

No, I’ve never heard of her. She’s good. I love learning about new great music artists :)
