JB, in my opinion is the greatest rock/blues guitar player I’ve ever seen....and there are some really good ones. His drummer played on the “late show” band for years. His keyboard player played with Stevie Ray Vaughn. 

 

The second half of the song, it gets better and better. Some great guitar riffs.....Especially at the end.  Crank it up!

Had a few good songs in the 80s. I heard he has a problem with his voice and can’t sing anymore. Too bad, He had a great distinctive voice.

Love this song when I was a kid.

Del Shannon had several hits. He wrote and performed his own music. Sadly he had a problem with depression and took his own life.

The band, The Traveling Wilburys wanted Del Shannon to replace Roy Orbison. Didn’t happen.
