@Brother Jack Now there's some real talent. The streets always have underexposed and underrated talent, better than what the world of mainstream rubbish and culture of "celebrities" feeds people most of the time.

Yes, I agree. It was amazing how the lead singer was able to sing both bass and falsetto. I was going to try to post nothing but street performances this week but when I did a search on them most were compilation videos.

The Hebrew word cushi or kushi is an affectionate term generally used in the Bible to refer to a dark-skinned person of African descent.

We all have our favorites, like a guitar riff, a drum beat, a baseline or a certain melody. This song has one of those very memorable beats. The guitar, base and drums all together seem overpowering....but it works real well.
Headphones on, volume up:lol:.  Hit play. Proceed with caution.

Love is like oxygen.   Sweet

John Lee Hooker - Boom Boom - 1997

A CO told me, when he was serving a congregation that JLH’s granddaughter was a sister in the congregation and JLH was coming to the meetings. He said he would arrive at the hall in a limousine.

Great song by Carly Simon. On the original recording, Mick Jagger did background vocals. You can hear this guy here with the cowbell, trying to sound like jagger a little. :headphones:

You’re  so vain

Little Richard -  Long Tall Sally - Tutti Frutti  1957

Little Richard just passed away today. He was a character, but I know the Beatles and Michael Jackson  Said they were influenced by his style. I wasn’t into his songs so much, but I thought he was an exceptional entertainer.

I didn’t care for his music either but he had a unique style and definitely knew how to get the party jumping.

ok Y’all, this here is Conway Twitty. I think he could have done better in choosing a Stage name for himself but, He is a legend in country music. When this song came out and I First heard it on the radio, I thought it was a new song by Elvis.  Nevertheless, it’s still a great song.
It’s only make believe :headphones:
