This one of my favorite older Elvis songs. Looks like that kind of dancing cloud be a workout. :coffee:

They don’t write songs like this anymore.

This is a remix. Were you able to find the original?

Yeah but now I just notice that most of them are remixes. I do like the remix. Gives it a little depth.

I enjoy music across several generations. There have been several versions of this song, but I like the old one.....by Perry Como. “And I love you so”.  Best enjoyed with headphones.:coffee:

Great song from the sixties. TheTurtles were a hot group back then. “You showed me.”

His voice  doesn’t match his persona and appearance.  but I love this song.

Another great song and voice to match. “Truly, madly, deeply”   Savage Garden

After all of those “Rickroll” videos that surfaced on the internet, I never looked at this song the same lol. Like his voice though.

This group the Spinners was one of my favorites. Listen to the song and the lead singer Bobby Smith and you’ll see why.  “It’s a shame”.

Catchy tune by the O’Jays..... “used to be my girl”.

Ray Stevens was a talented comic and singer. Here are just a couple samples from many hits he had back in the sixties and early seventies.

See if you can follow this :lol1:

Beautiful song......actually, “everything is beautiful “ :coffee:    Ray Stevens

Melissa Manchester had 2 or 3 big hits in the seventies then disappeared.

Beautiful voice and beautiful song. The first one was the theme of a popular movie back then....”Ice Castles”

Two more beautiful songs.

Barry Gibb was an amazing songwriter. Here he has a relatively unknown singer sing lead with the Bee Gees singing background. “Emotion”

Rita Coolidge was another one that had a few hits then disappeared. She was married to Kris Kristophersen. He was a singer songwriter, actor. He was a good songwriter, but singing and acting...not so much. Boz Scaggs actually wrote this song and it was first a hit for Frankie Valli..... But it became a bigger hit for Rita Coolidge only a year or so later.

2 great covers. I liked the second one the best. Beautiful voices. The kid in the Jackson 5 cover was the star among the three :)

Wow. I had this song on my mind yesterday. I was going to post this version along with the cover by Destiny’s child today.

Last one before I hit the hay.

Leann Rimes, I think was underrated.....maybe not, she’s playing here as a Diva, .  “How do I live without you”

Love this song. I can listen to it over and over. (tu)

“If I could turn back the hands of time “ Tyrone Davis

Even though it's about intuition and apparently a relationship, the lyrics of this song, particularly the second verse which is my favorite, especially the vocals by Daryl (hard to believe he was in his mid-late 50's at this time), definitely does the most. "The voice inside me is screaming 'don't put fear in the way', I'll let your spirit guide me" and "I never knew a love so strong, didn't have a clue where I belong..."

Also love this song from the same album too. Lyrics and vocals are incredible but always a lot better live. I feel like true musicians who can prove to be better live than on the record are dying out, so I appreciate the ones we got while we have them. Overall the album is great and definitely an underrated H&O one. Most people don't know their songs outside of the 70's/80's

The song “can’t fight the moonlight” that I posted by her is catchy. Type in rimes in the search engine to find it.
