Christian jukebox (good clean music to listen to)

Recommended Posts

Earth, Wind and Fire, Leonid and Friends - September (LaRCS, by DcsabaS, 2018) "LaRCS" stands for "Live and Record Combined Stereo", which means that on the left side you can hear a live performance, while on the right side the video clip/studio version. In this case you can enjoy "September" from the Earth Wind and Fire: on the right side the official music video clip, while on the left side a great live cover version from Leonid and Friends (2018, tempo adjusted). ( I know that I posted EWF "September" earlier on another post)

Here's a group you may not be familiar with, but fifty years ago they were four 20 year olds singing a song that still gets airtime today. Can you guess who the lead singer is? He went on to form another group that had greater success and longevity. He has the perfect voice for singing rock-n-roll and still sings this song from his days with Free, but most think it's a Bad Company original, even though that's not the case. They were unique, but the lead guitar player died at age 24, and the group was dissolved.

I’ve heard this song many times before and like it. I never knew who sang it though. Thanks 🙂

That an old jazz classic by George Gershwin.
Marcus king is underrated in his guitar skills. I seen him play a few years ago in a small venue. Very mpressive.

I seen Santana about the time this was recorded. I know all his songs but this one I distinctly remember them playing. It’s not my favorite but it’s close. This is a great band the percussion is outstanding. Then there’s Carlos Santana. Love that Latin flavor he gives it.

Headphones highly recommended :headphones:

One more try.....Chicken diner to anyone who can listen and not move.....:dance: not exactly like that.:lol1:

I can’t remember, wasn’t this group popular back in the 60s.? :coffee::lol:

Some great songwriting skills in this group. It’s relatively rare for someone to write just one classic song that is enjoyed for generations.....although thousands are always trying to.

These guys wrote a few dozen great songs.

We can work it out

 I was in the 8th grade, we had a free class at the last hour, where we could  listen to music and  dance if you wanted to, someone brought in the Beatles record " i want to hold your hand" I took one look at their picture with their mop hair cuts and that title of the song and said " oh no, these guys aren't going to go nowhere!" Ha ha, little did I know then, I soon fell into the "Beatlemania" enthusiasm along with everyone else.   😎

Shame

 It's the last song that I really like " Shame " it's got that certain beat and rythm that draws me, I especially like the " Evelyn 'Champagne' King - Shame (Ruud's Extended Edit) version, it's 10 minutes long, thanks
