Funny story day. I was living in South Carolina in 1988. Found out we were going to have a son, so I was going to look for some extra work.

A dear friend of mine told her boss, who called me at my main job. One of the other employee's answered the phone and told me "Jimmy Carter calling for you". I said "Right, thanks Ronald Reagan."

I answered the phone, a voice on the other end said in a southern drawl "Hey Gregg! It's Jimmy Carter from Food Lion"
My friend Mary  mentioned to him I was looking for some extra part-time work.

So I can honestly say, with a straight face and wry smile I worked for Jimmy Carter!
