Phone is low on internal storage and some functions might not work.

So, I sent an e-mail to my aunt. I got into my smartphone issues.

She had a really good job at Hewlett Packard years ago. In those days you had to be whip-smart to work in sales at a computer company. No one knew anything about them except smart techy people or businesses which hired smart techy people to buy and operate everything. Now, they are relatively easy to hook up and use. Why just the other day I needed more memory for my stupid cheap phone I got for $100 two years ago. I am using JW Library APP now and want to use the UBER APP, too. My phone only came with 4G. I mean, even I knew that was a bogus amount of G! But, who uses their smartphone for anything but phone calls. I even use google voice for desktop texting. ha-ha. Anyway.

So I Google "need more memory for Android phone". Why look! All the instructions on what to buy!  External Memory! A Micro SD card 64G to act as internal storage, ($30) how to load it into your phone (super easy per the YouTube video) and how to get your phone to recognize this external memory as internal storage is outlined in a few easy steps. It will only be a week before I get it. No problem. In SpongeBob Meme Voice: {OnE WeEk L8tR} Got it, now...Go to "Settings" on my phone and Tappity-Tappity-Tap. Oh, wait, it sort of works. What is the problem? {tWo WeEks L8tR} Let me watch another YouTube video. Oh, I have to tell my phone in a few easy steps I want to be a developer of my phone and to force allow apps to external storage. But isn't it dangerous to choose this option? Yes! But, I don't care I want my phone to recognize my external memory card as internal storage! Go to "Settings" Tappity-Tappity-Tap. OK! Now, I just need to tell my UBER APP, in a few easy steps, to move to my new internal storage which is actually an external memory card. Go to "Settings" on my phone and Tappity-Tappity-Tap. Wait, I did that but it won't let me select the newly appeared radio button option for my UBER APP to move to my external memory card which is now internal storage. Well, let's look at the video and the comments section. Yes, there are a lot of comments on this video where people are having the same problem. Look, there is a comment by someone else. It says to the person that put that video up that YOU FORGOT TO TELL PEOPLE TO ROOT THE PHONE FIRST. OK, let me Google how to do that. I see. This site says to use a free Android Root APP; download it to my phone and launch it. But, isn't it dangerous to root your phone? Yes! But, I don't care I want my phone to recognize my external memory card as internal storage and that is that! Follow the link on this possibly dubious site suggests. Hmm...KingoRoot sounds authentic enough. It says to download over wi-fi and not data. Instructions: 1. Phone must be charged to at least 50%, no problem as it is fully charged. 2. Good wi-fi connection. Got that too. 3. Fast wi-fi. Well, it is fast enough to stream and browse so, OK!! A couple more things on the list and yes, I meet all the requirements. Now, I download the new APP to root my phone. I launch the ROOT APP it only goes to 90%. Others have comments that say the same. Well, now the instructions at the bottom of this site say to try a few times downloading and launching as the scripts don't always come over the wi-fi when you download the APP and...you can't download over data. (Wait, why did I get data? Oh, to use an UBER APP when I am not home with wi-fi which like an idiot I tried and realized I DON'T HAVE DATA AND I JUST SOLD MY CAR AND HERE I AM AT CARMAX WITHOUT A RIDE AND WHICH IS EASIER, ASK THEM FOR A RIDE OR ADMIT I DON'T HAVE DATA AND IF I CAN I USE THEIR WI-FI! I asked for a ride.) And, to use my UBER APP on the same phone as my JW Library APP I need MORE MEMORY WITH AN EXTERNAL MEMORY CARD ACTING AS INTERNAL STORAGE! RIGHT! After downloading and launching the Android ROOT APP FIVE TIMES it still didn't work. OK, now what? Why the same site says just download the program to your PC. OK, so I downloaded it to my PC. How do I get it to my phone? With a USB cord for Android/PC connection, of course! (I don't have that.) So, now I am waiting for the delivery of my special $5 USB cord (to evade shipping costs it will be here {tEN dAzE L8tR}) to get the ROOT program from my PC to my phone and launch the ROOT program from my Android phone so I can change my phone's factory programming for the ability to load my UBER APP my external memory card which is acting as internal storage and WHY DIDN"T I JUST GET A MORE EXPENSIVE PHONE WITH PLENTY OF MEMORY! WHAT'S $300 COMPARED TO SPENDING PRACTICALLY NO MONEY AND HAVING TO GO THROUGH ALL OF THIS AND WILL IT EVEN WORK IN THE END! Probably not. So, I have looked up a few phones to buy so that in 10 days, when I have exhausted every possible option, I will buy a new phone anyway so I can have JW Library APP and UBER APP so my phone won't stop working as a phone. Because, you know, my phone is low on internal storage and some functions might not work.
