Gluten Free Bread

My husband is a Coeliac at the moment I have to buy bread... it's super expensive and I'd love to be able to find a recipe for a bread that would slice easily... he takes sandwiches to work everyday.

 

Does anyone have any ideas, that are tried and trusted?

Here's a link to a blender bread.  She seems to be able to slice it just fine.  I haven't tried it but I have one of her other bread recipe which I list below (see 2nd link below the biscuit recipe)

When I first had to go gluten free this biscuit recipe was my go to.  It's cheaper than making loaf bread and is very universal meaning I've used it to sliced to make sandwiches, burger buns, and also biscuits in the morning.  I've even made hotdog buns with this recipe.  The recipe is actually hard to mess up.  The batter is sort of loose so you can't shape it like normal biscuits so I brought a whoopie pie baking pan and just put the batter in each slot to get perfectly shaped biscuits/bread. My family (that were not GF) feel in love with this bread so I just made batches of them, sliced into into and put them into a zip lock bag in the fridge so the could make sandwiches, use for breakfast, etc.  If you don't mind that the bread is round then these may work for you.
