Chronic Nausea and Colitis

I'm wondering if anyone knows what might help chronic very very extreme nausea for my mom and rare colitis.  The very rare form of colitis was caused by a medication as a rare side affect that was given to her for acid burns which causes at least a lot of her nausea.  She takes Zofran for nausea, but it often doesn't work, ginger doesn't work, neither does peppermint.  The doctor is increasing her Nexium for her acid which isn't the med that caused the colitis.  So we'll see. But the colitis was supposed to go away after she stopped taking the other med but she still has bouts with it after a long time.

 

Any suggestions would be appreciated.  Also what are the costs? We are disabled and low income.
