Brotherly Love in Action

[Friends just call me Ross]

As some of you may know, my hubby had surgery yesterday...and it stormed here.

 

Today, one of our Congregation's loving shepherds, Brother Dennis,

stopped by with his wife to pick up a key to Alana's house

(Alana is a new JWTalk member who ended up in hospital with diabetic problem)

so they could pick up some things Alana needs

at the medical rehab place they are sending her to.  

 

While here, this loving elder found out that my Brother/Brother Peter

is coming tomorrow with our soon to be 90 years young Mom.  

 

Seeing that our driveway was drifted in with snow, and knowing that my hubby

was in no condition to be climbing up into tractors,

Brother Dennis went home, put his snowplow on his truck, gassed it up,

and then came back and cleared our driveway,

so our visitors could have a nice, safe area to park.   

 

We have a ridiculously large driveway and Brother Dennis was just going to

clear the area directly in front of our house.

But he must have been having fun, because he ended up plowing the entire farm out.

 I had my share of hand shoveling growing up in Southeast Mi., we didn't get the extreme snow that Northern Mi. or UP got, nevertheless snow was fun, when I was a young man, snowball fights, sledding, hopping on the back of cars (dangerous I know) we did it anyways, snow forts, now that I'm older Tennessee is the place to be! A blizzard down here is anything in excess of an inch! 😁
