All congregations in Togo, Lomé were given further information about the special convention that would be held December 25-27 in Lomé .

We are so excited to welcome all you dear friends from arround the world who would be coming.

Special Conventionin Lomé, Togo

Togo has been affectionately called 'The Smile of Africa.' Come and see for yourself! We are sure that the experience will put a lasting smile on your face too!

Togo may be one of the smallest countries in Africa, yet it is big on hospitality and diversity. The country is a real melting pot of people with different origins, who form a peaceful and friendly population.

With open arms, our brothers and sisters in Togo are eagerly looking forward to hosting you! We offer you the opportunity to meet them and taste the joys of the ministry in this pioneer’s paradise! By accepting our invitation, you could become a missionary—for a day, at least!

We cannot wait to introduce you to Togo’s picturesque hilltop villages, magnificent waterfalls, sun-kissed beaches, and cocoa plantations, where some of your favorite chocolate comes from. You will visit a spot where a lagoon and the ocean meet, catching a view that will further convince you that Jehovah has “set a decree for the sea that its waters should not pass beyond his order” and that will motivate you to gratefully praise Jehovah, the Father of “every good gift.”—Proverbs 8:29; James 1:17.

This will be the first special convention for Togo—a joyful theocratic milestone. We love you deeply and hope to show you that love when you visit us here in Togo.

There's a sister from Lomé in my congregation so I'll be pleased to ask if she will be attending.   It's so nice to know that the GB is continually bringing international and special conventions to Africa.  What a blessing!
