I had a slumber party in the 5th grade and about 6 girls came over. We read Nancy Drew books, painted each others toe nails, and played "beauty shop" by curling and styling each others hair. Someone suggested we crank call and I was like "OOOHHH, that sounds like fun. How do you do it?" She said I'll show you. So we all sat in the hallway on pillows with toes freshly painted and our hair all teased and proceeded to make up phone numbers at random. We would say "This is Sears and I am calling to see if your refrigerator is running?---Oh it is? You better go and catch it!" Then we would pass the phone and someone would call and say "Do you have Prince Albert in a can? You do. You better let him out before he suffocates" Then my mother heard us and asked what we were doing and I said "Nothing" and could not quit laughing/snorting so she said "I'll see about that" then she took me by the arm and led me to her bedroom and spanked me for "being a nusience" and acting like a child. Duh. I was a child. My parents were always real strict. I was very embrassed. The girls all got to sleep in my bed and on the floor and I had to stay in my Mom and Dad's room that night for not fessing up when she asked me what I was doing. That was the worse slumber party I ever had.

I would hide forever if that was me. You should have told your mom you was talking on the phone. Maybe you would have got away with it. lol

Ok I'll let you guys in on a little secret of mine :)

It's http://www.hoaxcall.com/

This is the best hoaxcall website I've ever messed around with. This website lets you literally dial any number you want through your internet connection (no strings attached) and it uses alternate voices and call scenarios and you can choose any persons name from a huge name list...and when it calls the person, you can choose what line of speech you want to use.. and what makes it convincing is you have full control and it calls the victim by THEIR OWN NAME :D

You listen and respond as they are clueless who you could be.

You want to know why it's a good website to prank others on? It's because it doesn't let you ABUSE the fun! In other words, once you dial a number, it automatically goes on a block for one week before you can call that same number again. This is good to prevent anyone from abusing their website to disturb the peace. It's also fair, that means if you dial someones number and it just rings.. it will let you call back as many times as you want until they pick up.

:)

It is virtually impossible for your victim to know that it is YOU who is pranking them. Unless they have some hint that you gave away.

I always give it away:

"Hi my name is Jerry and I am calling to share an encouraging Bible verse with you today."

That's really gets em running :lol1:

Hey, did you see the wrong # experience in the yearbook for this week? Awesome!

She says, "have you read the Bible today?" ..... "Why is it so important?"

Plan ahead as if Armageddon will not come in your lifetime, but lead your life as if it will come tomorrow (w 2004 Dec. 1 page 29)

Soon .....

LOL! I LOVE THIS!

Holy spirit just pounced off you and hit me in the face! I feel like whipping out my phone territory right now :raspberry:

The experience was great! It was in the 2011 yearbook. You know what's interesting though? There's another one in the 2012 yearbook on page 62 that's also a nice read. I just got through finishing the 2012 yearbook. OH man was it great! I especially feel for those who were apart of the genocide. That was vicious. Sort of off topic, but just a reply to your awesome post Jerry :P

EDIT: My sister just recently had a "wrong phone number" experience too! Someone called her who dialed the wrong phone number, and she starts to witness to him, and it turns out he was praying to Jehovah for help to come back in the truth again.... was that not Jehovah's direction OR WHAT!? :o That is no lie!

II remember prankdial.com and I remember having lots of fun using it. The thing I like about Hoaxcall over others is...

1. You can choose and control each sentence you want to send instead of a single audio file that just plays from beginning to end without controlling what it says. Hoaxcall let's you repeat something you said before, or choose a different line of reasoning depending on which way the victim takes the conversation. This makes it very realistic.

2. It uses their personal name (if it's on the list).

3. You don't need to make an account or login to do anything :)

4. It's very realistic!

Have fun

My mom got prank called by a couple of Bros in our hall about 15 years ago. A local store had opened and her and my father went to the grand opening and entered a drawing to win free stuff. The store called her one day and told her she won a free 28 cu. ft refrigerator. She was very excited since they were in NEED of a new one and called to tell my dad who happened to be at lunch with these other brothers. Well they are all jokers and one of the brothers called my mom and tried to disguise his voice and told her he was a Manager and they made a mistake when actually she had won a 28 cu. in. Igloo cooler. She started hooten and hollering at him on the phone and then she heard the other brother laughing in the background and called them both out. For the first few minutes they had her though, she was really giving him a piece of her mind until she heard the laughing. They still bring it up and laugh about it to this day. Oh and they still have the fridge she won that day.
