This morning at our encouragement zoom meeting (aka field service meeting) we had a brother from the UK Bethel join us and he took questions from the brothers about the new Branch and the brothers and sisters there.

He told us that the Branch build was due originally for completion in March 2020 but about 18 months ago the GB asked the brothers if they could complete by Dec 31 2019 - which they did.  All Bethel workers etc were in Bethel just before the lockdown!

The video production dept is working full speed already!

Elderly Bethelites, some of whom have served for 40-50 years, who were in the old hq in Mill Hill were assigned a married couple to help them with packing and to take care of all their problems tied in with moving.  These elderly and infirm Bethelites have their own residence building at Chelmsford Bethel and are cared for by the Infirmary brothers.  They are all 'shielded' and safe.

Jehovah has really well overseen the move.

Last Sunday we were visited by a Bethel speaker from Patterson as well.  After the meeting, general inquires were asked from the congregation to the couple.  But one comment the speaker made stood out that, the New York Bethel went on lockdown 2 weeks before the government-mandated lockdown. As a result, there wasn't a single covid-19 infection or death among our brethren there.

That was so nice to hear. :)
