Job seekers getting asked for Facebook passwords

Whoa! I have to tell my hubby about that one - he is actively looking for work! We do not have facebook! But, I know of many friends that do. Is that legal?

I think this part of the story answers that:

Questions have been raised about the legality of the practice, which is also the focus of proposed legislation in Illinois and Maryland that would forbid public agencies from asking for access to social networks.
