The planets Jupiter and Saturn are coming close together this weekend in a rare conjunction.  They will appear low in the sky as a “double star”.

 

There is speculation that such a conjunction occurred 2000 years ago and may have been the “star” seen in the East by the astrologers who visited Jesus!
