Poor Dairy Farmers

Recommended Posts

This made me think of Rosanne...and I’m glad they are retired from dairy farming.

She more than likely heard about this already, but thought I’d still post it.

Personally, I would tell Deans Food to take a long walk on a short bridge. Notice the word “demand”.

No farmer in this locality could afford to do that...at least I don’t think so...as we have small dairy farms around here. Not like Wisconsin.

LANSING, Mich. (WJMN) — Dean Foods, the largest dairy processor in the United States, sent notices to a handful of Michigan dairy farmers who direct-shipped their milk to a former Dean dairy plant in Michigan’s Upper Peninsula, according to the Michigan Department of Attorney General and the Michigan Department of Agriculture and Rural Development (MDARD).

The notices “demand” the return of money paid to them by Dean in the months leading up to the company’s bankruptcy. The company filed for bankruptcy in November 2019.
