Grand Designs ... my home town.

Recommended Posts

Thought those of you who know me would love this episode of Grand Designs.

The town is Whanganui ... they pronounce it wrong as the rest of NZ pronounce the Maori 'wh' as a F but in our region is pronounced 'wh' as in where.

So Whanganui is Whong.

We live not far from Kai Iwi which means .. Kai food Iwi tribe. So not eat people but rather where the tribe eats.

Tom and I lived in a large Tudor style house across from the silver ball if you glimpse it. (Divided into 20 or so flats/apartments. ENJOY!

About JWTalk.net - Jehovah's Witnesses Online Community

Since 2006, JWTalk has proved to be a well-moderated online community for real Jehovah's Witnesses on the web. However, our community is not an official website of Jehovah's Witnesses. It is not endorsed, sponsored, or maintained by any legal entity used by Jehovah's Witnesses. We are a pro-JW community maintained by brothers and sisters around the world. We expect all community members to be active publishers in their congregations, therefore, please do not apply for membership if you are not currently one of Jehovah's Witnesses.
