jW library for Mac/

Hello All,  

 

I am using jw library on my iPhone and iPad...  I learned recently that the brothers are using it also on their pc's.  I have been using a Mac for the past 15 years or so... and didn't know it is available on pc.  it doesn't seem to be available for Mac.  only iPhone and iPad; https://apps.apple.com/us/app/jw-library/id672417831

Can anyone share any information on weather it can be run on a Mac or not?

My husband uses a Mac and he uses the JW library app through a program called "BlueStacks" you can also the internet site jw.org through Google, but it's not as efficace for the JW Library app.

It's called an emulator by the way BlueStacks, I believe there's a second program but I've forgotten the name 🙄🙄🙄

@Barbara Anne @nzbeeker Its not as much as there has been a change on the development side of JW Library but that some new Macs can run iPhone/iPad apps. You will need to have an M1 MacBook Air, Pro or Mac Mini. Please note though, its not officially supported yet (the brother seem sufficiently busy with The Good News According to Jesus series  )

Honestly, I have just gotten accustomed to using WOL on my Mac as it has superior search capabilities as compared to JW Library. Hope it helps!

I use my pc, it's my husband that has a Mac and he's put an emulator called BlueStacks on it, it's like Google play and you can install programs such as JW library on your Mac with it which you cannot with Google play
