help finding a scripture

Recommended Posts

I can't find this scripture, it says something to the effect that it is better for someone to have never been born than to have known the truth and left it. Please help me find it. I've searched a lot on wol and JW Library.

2 Peter 2:21 Better to have not known the path of righteousness than to turn away after knowing./

Matt. 26:24 better not to have been born than to betray the Son of Man..

One small crack doesn't mean you are broken; it means that you were put to the test and didn't fall apart..

*** The Watchtower Announcing Jehovah’s Kingdom—1953 Predestination or Individual Choice—Which? ***

25 Continuing the discussion of those purchased ones who later disown their owner Christ Jesus, the apostle Peter states: “Certainly if, after having escaped from the defilements of the world by an accurate knowledge of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, they get involved again with these very things and are overcome, the final conditions have become worse for them than the first. For it would have been better for them not to have accurately known the path of righteousness than after knowing it accurately to turn away from the holy commandment delivered to them.

The saying of the true proverb has happened to them: ‘The dog has turned back to its own vomit, and the sow that was bathed to rolling in the mire.’” (2 Pet. 2:20-22) After being cleansed by the water of truth and the blood of Jesus they return to the sins of their former filth. The destruction of such does not slumber, but arrives at God’s scheduled time.

I  used the phrase 'dog returned to its vomit' and I was able to quickly locate the scripture. Glad the sisters were quick to come to your aid.

Daydream -

Scientists have discovered that daydreaming is an important tool for creativity. It causes a rush of activity in a circuit, which connects different parts of the brain and allows the mind to make new associations.
