JW Library ios publication not available

Hi Guys,

 

I just bought an iPad air 4th generation. 
When installing the jw library app the check for new publications keeps failing. 
 

Some publications are available, but under the meetings tab nothing shows. ‘The publication is not available at this time’ keeps showing. 
 

I tried deleting and re-installing, even factory reset of the iPad, downloading with another iCloud account,… nothing works. 
 

I tried this youtube tutorial: 

 

 

didn’t work either. 
 

Any ideas on what to do?

I’m having the exact same issue. I’ve tried the same suggestion in the video and gotten the danger results…NOTHING. And the silence when looking for a remedy has now become deafening. Is it just an Apple thing? No one seems to know.

This issue can be resolved one of two ways.

 

1) Go to JW.ORG choose the publications missing from yet JW App and download them

 as JWPUBs. Once the download is complete you’ll be given the choice of how to open them. “open with” Choose JW App and it will be added. This way could take some time depending on how many publications are missing. 
 

2) The better way and most successful is to say a prayer and sleep on it. I found that the very next day ALL of the publications I was missing were miraculously on the App the very next day. Prov 10:28a

I have found that most of the problems with JW Library not finding certain publications are actually problems with the internet connection. Yes, you may have a good connection and other apps may work fine, but for some reason JW Library does not. In most cases, the issue is solved by simply allowing it time. You check a few hours later and the publications are there.
