double paste contents when I use the copy\paste function

i am trying to find a fix for an issue I have on my MacBook Air that concerns the copy\paste function.

anytime I copy something so I can past it in JW library, the paste function pastes the copied text twice.

 

as anyone encountered this situation?

 

thanks for the help

I had a bad mouse that would cause this to happen.

 I am not sying I am Superman, I am only saying that nobody has ever seen Superman  and me in a room together.
