In 2019, as part of their original investigation, The Houston Chronicle newspaper published a searchable database of 263 offenders from the past 20 years, spread over 30 states, and Washington D.C.

The New York Times is now reporting: "Leaders in the Southern Baptist Convention announced Tuesday that they were preparing to release a secretly maintained list of hundreds of ministers and church workers they say are credibly accused of sexual abuse.... The Southern Baptist Convention has now released the names of the alleged abusers on a link on the front page of their website. They say:

 

The recently released Guidepost report revealed a list of alleged abusers compiled by a former employee of the SBC Executive Committee. This list is being made public for the first time as an initial, but important, step towards addressing the scourge of sexual abuse and implementing reform in the Convention.
