 Excellent article showing the behind the scenes of what takes place that many of us do not get to physically observe! What a fast and well organized time line that took place. I'm reading this at 2:30 am because I couldn't sleep, when I first read about the groats, the basic food items, I thought I read goats, they eat goats over there I thought. 😉

 

What are goats I mean groatsGroats are a whole grain that retains the endosperm, the germ, and the bran, thus preserving all of the nutrition. They have a hearty, chewy texture and must be soaked or simmered.
