Some Charcoal Drawings

I took a year long drawing course offered by a brother that used to work in the art department at Bethel.  It was a challenge as I had never drawn by hand.  My biggest challenge was learning to shade things.  The class started off drawing simple faces, hands, arms, legs then gradually got more detailed.   When you finish the course you should be able to draw portraits.  My final class I had to draw a portrait from someone's photo.  Due to privacy I won't share it here publicly.  I would have never taken such a course but because of the pandemic I took it to keep my mind off the world events.  Here are some examples of our work near the end of the course.  The work isn't perfect but I did my best. 🤭

Thank you Sister.  Without Jehovah's it wouldn't be possible.
