Library App installs but won't open

On my Samsung S9 phone, JWL app won't open. Since the Jan 2023 update, the app will install but when I try to open it the 'accept terms of use' page is frozen, won't scroll & I can't Accept. I've tried a thousand times and dozens of ways. Uninstalled & restarted my phone, installed from different sources (Play Store, Amazon & from JW.org) It works fine on my laptop & tablet. But I sure miss being able to use it on my phone! 😕 Any suggestions? Thanks in advance...

I don't know if you have tried this, but we can look at all the options:

 

- Close all open applications, open Library and try using;

 

- Change the screen orientation (portrait/landscape) and then test again;

 

- Download a publication in JWPUB format directly from the site, then browse the file on the device and try to open Library through it;

 

- Open the Library with the Internet/mobile data deactivated.

 

- When it opens and freezes on the terms screen, go to the device settings, search for the app and force it to close.

 

- Make a backup from another device, send it to the device you are going to use the app on, and open the backup directly from the file.

 

- The terms window has two ways of scrolling, a quick action button to advance to the end of the text, or manually scroll the text to the end. Really, one of them needs to work to activate the accept button.
