Visit Portugal from USA

My wife and I would like to plan a return visit to Portugal.  She was first there in 1965 (when the work was still under ban) on a Society’s tour and we returned in 2013 for the Special Convention. We fell in love with the people in general and with our brothers and sisters in particular. This time we will be returning on our own, probably for about a month, but would like some direction from local witnesses as to places to rent, etc. . Not sure how to go about it.  Any help or suggestion would be much appreciated.

What part of portugal are you willing to visit?

There are beautiful beaches in the south (Algarve) and Beatiful mountain sceneries in the North, (Minho, Douro)

Whatever you go, the food is great even in the cheapest places
