NW Scheduler/Publisher - Updates, Support, and Suggestions

The latest NWP update I see is 4.0.12. Is anyone still having issues after updating? I advised our publishers not to update for the time being past 4.0.10 if possible.

Opened NWS this morning and half of the congregations in our circuit and the nearby circuit that were approved in Public Speaker Sharing are no longer approved. I refreshed, however, no change. Anyone else experiencing the same?

It seems congregations have to rejoin

Eventually it started working.

NWP app seems to have everyone living at the same address. It's the address that the first person in the database lives at. In NWS addresses are OK. But not in the app 4.0.12.

Any suggestions? Others seeing this?

Have you tried doing the Refresh Data? Its a new feature in NWP Settings, About.

 

Have one of the NWS administrators make a small change in any address and sync to NWP.

The issue ended up being that all the families ended up under the first name in the data. I had to go change them all back.

I have been making NWS backups using an older Seagate Replica.  I just foung out it is outdated and can no longer be used for backups.  I want to get another external device for backups.  Does anyone know about how much storage space I will need for a large congregation?  Or does anyone have a recommendation?

One backup file for a large congregation shouldn't be more 2-3MB. Our 90 publisher congregation takes about 1.5MB. So assuming you do the backup monthly, an 8GB USB flash drive would allow you to backup monthly for 200 - 300 years...

Assuming my math is mathin'. 😁
