NW Scheduler/Publisher - Updates, Support, and Suggestions

I recently reported two bugs to the developers. One was that sometimes in a person's midweek meeting history you cannot see who was their partner. The other had to do with a grey sign that, according to support should appear when someone had a part recently but, at least in my case, never appears.

I just installed minor update #1471 and it fixes both issues that I reported.

Now the CLAM history grid can have two lines if necessary. And there is a different warning icon if the publisher had another talk recently, different from the one if the publisher has another talk the same day.

Today we are doing a coordinated update and everyone is updating to #1474.

Several of the brothers have successfully updated but they are showing in the system still with an older version. Has anyone experienced this before and have a fix? There must be some kind of update bug.

I have asked a couple of them to go to Me > Update > Check for Updates. It will likely come back as "No Updates" but maybe that will be enough to refresh the system. I haven't heard back from any of them yet. I am not confident it will work so if anyone has a suggestion I am eager to hear it.

I did have an issue where the update suddenly terminated and when I went back in it didn't prompt me to update but did notice I was still on the old version. Tried again same thing happened. Then I manually downloaded the update and ran it but this time it indicated that an existing update was still running. So I ran Task Manager and sure enough the setup process was there. I terminated it then ran the update again and this time it completed right to the end.

Man I sure hope I don't have to walk any of our more technically challenged users through these steps! 😬
