Loans are up to 1.6 Trillion! Some people in this article share that their loans amounts are always going up because of interest. That the government has it geared so that they may never get it paid off.

I know little about student loans but this sounds very serious. The truck drivers story was especially sad, he had to get more education but ohhh, the cost.

Our brothers who encourage to not go the extended higher education rout has saved many of us from the twisted rules of this system.

It really shows how badly we need Jehovah's Kingdom. It doesn't matter who is charge or how sincere a president may be.  There are always forces that keep things from getting done. And the people suffer.

Some argue that having a college degree should dictate that the person who has one should be paid more than a person who doesn't. They say that, because they are in debt with $100,000 in student loans, they deserve higher pay than someone like a construction worker - even though that construction worker is in debt for $100,000 after buying the vehicle and tools he needs to do his job.

This system is so unbalanced.
