Today, June 1, 2012 my husband Tom and I are celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary. It has been a wonderful time serving Jehovah. We have had many, many good times and a few bad ones but we have stuck together through it all. We are having a family gathering on June 16 &17. When we watched the video that we had on the service meeting this week, I had to feel really grateful that my Dad recognized the truth way back in 1940 and we have had 5 generations of Jehovah praisers. We are so blessed!!!

Congratulations Dorothy and Tom. !!!!!!! How coincidental . . my hubby is Tom too. :thumbsup:

You share the celebration your anniversary with the Queens Jubilee year in UK. You have a lot of memories built up.

You must make a big deal of a family event in two weeks. . you have earned it. :bouncing:

That is some wonderful news!!!!!!

Congrats to you and your husband! 60 years is a milestone, and very difficult to do in this world. But by having Jehovah in your marriage, you and your husband have proven that marriage can work if both people serve Jehovah and put him first in their lives.

Congrats again and enjoy your day!!!!!
