Iron Filter

After 8 years our water softener needs major repairs. We've got way too much iron in our water and it's ate away the rotors of the softener.

We are in need to purchase an iron filter.

Does anyone here have any exprerience with these? Any tips or comments you can share?

One uses he slogan. .' don't let your kidneys be the filter' . . install our instead.
