Cartoon Pickles

My wife and I love the cartoon, Pickles. Earl & Opal are certainly relatable characters in a marriage. This one made my wife and I laugh. I feel laughter and the ability to laugh at oneself is important in a marriage! And speaking of that, I have to tell a funny story that made her laugh and the whole book study group in 2001. I had purchased some men's briefs but did not know they were actually musical. I'm not real picky about those items and these were on clearance at a good price. Anyway, we sit down, the brother opens with a prayer and right after that my wife puts her Bible on my leg to hold for a second. Then it happened. All the sudden music started to play, I had to get up slightly embarrassed as muted laughter broke out! We still laugh about that 22 years later. A truly "Earl" moment!
