Updating JW Library from Play Store with a different account

Recommended Posts

A sister has a couple older tablets she wants to give to two children in her congregation and she asked me to prepare them. I reset the tablets to factory state, now I would like to install JW Library. If I install JW Library from an APK, it won't update, so I need to install it from the Paly Store. But obviously I don't have the children's email username and password to be able to use the Play Store, or even know if they have one.

So I was thinking I could add my Google account, install JW Library, then remove my account. Do you think that would work? Will the app update once they introduce a Google account, even if it's not the same it was installed with?

That's a good suggestion, but the question is still relevant. If I install JW Library with a Gmail account I create, and later the user replaces it with another one he has, will the app keep updating?

I have done installed JWL and uploaded all the children's videos on a tabley that we had previously owned that we passed on my wife's grandchildren. I then signed out of Google Play on the device and then let my step-daughter log into Play store using her login details when she got home.
