Hi Ligia,

You won't be able to find JWs in Dubai as we do not have meetings there (closest is in Karachi, Pakistan). As you may have noticed in our Country and Territory Reports, we aren't in the Emirates. Arab/muslim countries are difficult with us.

Were are you living currently ? Have you talked with your elders about it?

Hi Dages, thank you for your reply.

Yes I spoked with my elders regarding this situation, even they are trying to help me to found somebody there. Because I find the same, that no meetings there. But if is possible to find some brothers/sister it would be nice.

We live in Valledupar/Colombia

As it is often the case with such countries, you won't have access to these details, as it's extremely sensitive information. Even as an elder, I don't have such.
Maybe asking your elders to contact bethel?

I guess you'll have to pray and let the angels help you find friends... I highly doubt we have many brothers and sisters in this area.

Moving to Dubai is a complicated move for a Witness since our work is banned there. There are no public meetings or service.

Since there are many foreigners in Dubai, maybe there is some group meeting in private homes. If there is such group, the only way to get in touch with them is by means of your elders, who will contact the branch that takes care of that territory. Any other means will put the brothers in danger. In the meantime you can attend the meetings from your previous congregation by Zoom.

I am not sure about the specific situation in Dubai, but in general, Muslim countries are relatively tolerant with informal witnessing among non-Muslim foreigners. Now if you witness to a Muslim that is very likely to get you in serious trouble.

Honestly, it's not a good idea for a Witness to move to Dubai for work reasons. Maybe you can explore other possibilities and leave the country when possible.

I remember we had some Filipino members years ago who were in Dubai. There are many people from Philippines working there, and among them there are some Witnesses. But they usually leave the country as soon as they can, otherwise their spirituality can be affected.

It is highly recommended to contact Bethel in this matter along with the elders.
It’s a country where our work is banned.

There’s even a possibility where meetings are done in different places. And publications used but with missing information in them.
