Encouraging Words To Share

So I've been standoffish with my current congregation because of the past.

A sister that I've never been close to or talked to much offered to take me to my important medical appointments on Monday.    On the way there we talked and talked like we'd been friends forever.  (I've only had this type of relationship with Sister Dunn for the last almost 30 years).     When we got to the clinic I thought that she'd just go shopping or something but she came in with me.   I had to have a diagnostic mammogram , an ultrasound and then I saw the breast cancer specialist.     I was very relieved that I didn't have breast cancer.  PHEW!

Anyways,   the sister was talking to an older lady and the lady asked her  "Who is this?"    The sister said "My sister".    I almost started crying right there and then.  LOL    I'm just not used to that.

Then in the hallway I told her that I didn't have breast cancer. I could see the genuine love and happiness on her face that my tests were negative.

Then in the car she said "Can I treat you to a meal to celebrate?"     My heart about bursted.   Lol.

If you're having trouble feeling like you fit in with your congregation,   trust me... You will find your way.    Now my goal is to attend a meeting in person.

I prayed to Jehovah to help me find someone other than Sister Dunn (who lives over 100 miles away from me) that I could talk to.

Anyways,  so me and this Sister went out to eat at Perkins,  had more pleasant conversation and then we exchanged phone numbers. (We had been communicating on FB Messenger)

I wish there was a jump up and down emoji! I'm so happy for you sis. Doesn't Jehovah know exactly what we need and when? Thank you for sharing that.

I found when I tell someone they are so ,so kind they really appreciate - their voice light up ..........

When I say the above I am very ,very sincere - not trying to rack up brownie points  - just giving them accommodation and help them feel a little better about themselves - isn't this is what is all about with Jehovah' people ?   A flower for your thoughts ( more valuable than a penny )I Love You GIF by Mouse
