sister in Philippines passed government boards

A sister in the Philippines who we have been supporting for 22 months just passed her 2nd government board to be a certified PSW.

She was 1 of 10 who passed today out of 26 who were going for extended training. This will allow her to work in a hospital setting even here in North America.

We had her quit her slave wage 6 days a week job at Dole plantation - weeding. She was making 8000 PH pesos a month, about $200 CDN.

After completely supporting her ( and helping out parents and some food for family ) since last winter, Jehovah has blessed her with a very in demand skill.

Took lots of hard work despite complaints from her one sister. With a lot of prayer and encouragement from us she made it.

Now she has to do 2 weeks of practical trainer at a nursing home.

May Jehovah find her a suitable job that will let her at least auxiliary pioneer.

Prayers to that end would be appreciated.
