Are there any vegans here?

Recommended Posts

Well I eat vegan.... I'm not into the whole changing my clothing and saving the animals thing honestly..(I'd like to let Jehovah handle that part) . I'm just vegan for health reasons.

I enjoy converting food from before into a veganized version of it....

Like @BlaqueCalalilly, I too am plant based for health reasons (I had several health issues before adopting a plant based diet). Unlike a lot of vegans in the world, I find absolutely nothing wrong with eating animals or wearing animal products. Based on my research, I just don't think including meat in your diet is conducive to optimal health.

The Hebrew word cushi or kushi is an affectionate term generally used in the Bible to refer to a dark-skinned person of African descent.

My diet is currently a combination of Mediterranean and vegan. That probably sounds odd, but I am trying to move more towards getting the meat and most of the dairy out of my diet. I go to YouTube for ideas. I’m thinking about vegan egg (tofu) salad next. I want to do it but worried the texture will throw me!

Live long and prosper. 🖖🏻

We had a 4-5 few girls trying it, but their doctors had them change their diets as it was causing them health problems

(they were kind of following a fad…although they were legit gluten intolerant and 1 celiac)

we do have several vegetarians —and pescatarians -  mostly for health reasons…but again the husbands went along willingly until the doctors advised against it in 2 cases

here is an article from health magazine

in mentions the benefits and differences , but also discusses some adverse affects and the needs to get the missing nutrients elsewhere

the point I got was that your diet needs to be balanced

you can avoid certain types of foods,(for health or other reasons)  but need to make sure your body is getting the correct vitamins and nutrients
