Another victory for Jehovah’s people in Brazil!

Last December, a well-known news portal in Brazil published a series of articles attacking Jehovah’s organization. They spread false information, especially about how cases involving minors are handled. And to make things worse, they didn’t even give the organization a chance to respond, which goes against Brazil’s press laws.

Because of that, the Association took legal action against this news portal. And guess what? On the 25th, the court ruled in favor of Jehovah’s organization! The judge made it clear that the article was biased and that its headline wasn’t meant to inform but to pass judgment.

This news portal is a complete joke. Almost all the articles are clickbait, biased, and seem to be written by amateurs. A true disservice to serious journalism.
At least there will be a right of reply, but it's a shame that the punishment was so lenient...

True. I used to work a newspaper company and I can tell that serious journalism tanked just after 9-11-01. Or maybe a little later.
