I'm trying to get this app to work on an elderly brothers firestick but I'm getting 'connection to the server was unsuccessful'.

I updated the firestick and re downloaded the app. Also dug out my old firestick but it has the same problem.

Anyone else getting this? We are in UK

My ROKU unit is several years old and still works fine. We watched the GB Update #6  on Friday.

I tried to use the official app that's available on the Firestick store, but it doesn't work for me. An alternative I found was this unofficial app; it only functions as a player and organizes the videos from the website like it used to be on the old, separate JW Broadcasting site. This app works very well for me. My wife and I use it a lot. My mom and my siblings also have it installed on their Firesticks.
