NW Scheduler - Share Do Not Call Territories

Hello, first time posting here.

 

I recently been assign to assist with the Territories in NW Scheduler NWS. I have reference this forum which I have learned a lot and appreciate. I also help with the Operating Committee , there was a discussion about sharing our do not call list amongst the congregations.

 

I'm in a Spanish Cong and there are four English congregations within our territory. This was the suggestion from one brother:

 

Possible solution:

- Create a Google Drive > Territory overseers will have access

- Spanish Cong have a master Do Not Call DNC to one Territory named NV (No visitor or Do Not Call) > export this territory from NWS (CSV file) and place it in the Google Drive

- English Congs will download the Spanish master DNC file from Google Drive and will either import this file to NWS or if they have their own master Do No Call CSV file already,  they can add it to that then import to NWS. 

- English Congs will also export their master DNC territory > export from NWS to Google Drive > where I would import it to NWS.

- we would do this process and the end of each month.

 

Question - Is there something within NWS to share territories to other congregations?

Currently there is no way to share data with other congregations using NW Scheduler (except for the Public Speakers list and arrangements). For example, I learned a few days ago that you assign a maintenance task to another congregation, but that's just for your record, the other congregation will not receive it.

 

If you think this functionality would be useful, you can send a suggestion to the developer team. Sometimes they add some of the suggestions to the app.

Thank you for your feedback. It was a long shot but no worries I'll stick to the plan that the brother suggested using the Google Drive.

Turns out -- there IS a way! Just click the dropdown box in the assignment dialog box, and you will see the option. (See pic)
