Is 6GB RAM enough on Android tablet for JWLibrary?

I find it useful to have two copies of JW Library when I'm studying (instead of having to jump between tabs, I just have to look left or right on my iPad) and also when I'm conducting a bible study in a foreign language (for example, I have a spanish student and is easy for me to have the lff publication in both languages at the same time.

 

(btw, M4 iPad Pro 13" here, and really happy with it!!  )

Just received my Xiaomi Redmi Pad 2 Pro tablet. 12.1" screen with 6GB RAM 128GB SD memory for US$232. CPU is the snapdragon 7 gen 4.

 

Here is a screen recording of operating 2 copies of jwlibrary. The speed is respectable for a low cost tablet.

This will be the replacement for my current mobile + tablet combo.

I am on a Samsung Tab S2. It is still fast, and runs JW lib ok. 

Nothing downloads. The workaround is to share files, open in Chrome, download jwpub file. Run and open in JW lib. Works for videos too.

My wife has same tablet.

We also have 3 pc's on W10, that don't support 11. 

I have no idea where $4k is coming from to update perfectly working tech.

I feel for the Africans who have less than us. I am in Australia.

JW should support older devices for us low income earners.

After using the Xiaomi tablet for a few days, I'm impressed with Xiaomi Redmi Pad 2 Pro tablet. 12.1" screen with 6GB RAM 128GB SD memory for US$232. CPU is the snapdragon 7 gen 4.😁

 

You can consider using this tablet to replace your windows setup in the future. This tablet runs so much faster than my 18 year old 13" screen windows 10 laptop which runs very slowly.😅

 

I've added a bluetooth keyboard (US$8) and bluetooth mouse (US$8) and functions well for word processing using WPS Office.

 

I've tried drawing programs like concepts, hipaint, infinite painter and krita and they perform well for such a low cost device.
