Not Sure What To Title This... Sorry.

So I am looking to move to a much larger city than where i'm living.  Not just for the benefits but because the apartment i'm living in has mold issues and the landlord isn't doing anything. 

 

One of those areas is in Madison, Wisconsin.   

How would I go about contacting our friends in that area to ask questions about the city and if it's the right move for us?   I don't have a car so I can't travel down there to explore things.

If you go to jw.org and click on "About Us" and them "Meetings" you will see a box for "Find a Location Near You". Clicking that will give you a map with a search box. Enter Madison, WI in the box and you will get several results.

I was just about to post exactly this! 😀 

It looks as thought there are at least 6 English congregations right in Madison, with several more in the near vicinity.

So I would just leave a voicemail message telling them that i'm interested in moving to that area?

I didn't try any of the phone numbers. There are a number of congregations in the area. If you click on each congregation name it will give you the information, including the phone number for each one - you can try different numbers to see if a person answers any of them. Leaving a message may also work ...

Yes that is fine..

That's what we did when we moved cross-country. We even had local brothers look at houses and change locks on our doors when we couldn't be there in person. They were such a blessing!
