Samsung is discontinuing their native messaging app in a few months and they suggest we switch to Google Messages.

 

Does anyone have any suggestions about the Google messages app?

Messages is better. Easy to use cross platform from your tablet/PC. Not many suggestions aside from going through the settings and turning on RCS and setting it up the way you like. RCS is better and more secure than basic SMS texting. Personally, I would turn off Bubbles and Gemini.

I really liked the Category feature in the Samsung Messages app, I had categories for the FSG, Family, Elders, etc. I don't see that feature in Google messages.
