I need help figuring out why sound going out to zoom is low coming from the mics.  The songs and videos played through the JW Library app are nice and loud but the microphones are low while sound good at the Hall.

We have had a similar experience over here in the UK, when needing to use zoom for our meeting. I found that it was possible to improve it somewhat by resetting the sound settings on my computer. Not being a great 'techie', I asked for suggestions, and then applied the guidance given. I have found that it varies at different halls, too. We have zoomed into other halls for funeral talks, and found quite a variation in the sound quality.

It sounds like a local thing. I have never had a volume problem in any of the meetings I have tied into. It all sounds good (unless the brothers forget to turn on the sound altogether).

If the JW Library app is on the same PC as the Zoom, there is an internal handoff of the sound as long as the sound is shared. For the mics, that is an external connection and must be set in the 'Microphone' setting. Most likely the mics all go through a mixer and that needs to be the 'Mic" selected in Zoom. Also, there is a setting for mic volume in Zoom as well as the output setting for the mixer - often labeled as 'Master Volume' ... although the output from the mixer could be an 'aux', 'monitor' or 'headset'. Make sure both the mixer mater volume and the Zoom mic volume are set to provide a loud enough setting without causing distortion.

I would guess that the actual mic volume is OK if those in the KH can hear it over the sound system.
